Thanks for this post! Nice summation of Fall trends - this is going in my favorites... :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with all of the trends you've posted...I'm just not ready to wear them yet! :)
ReplyDeleteAn awesome dark green is BB Couture "Grenade" from their men's line. And... a nail trend for Spring 2012 will be men painting their toes!
ReplyDeleteCG has an olive green called "Agro" - very similar to "Grenade", but a little more brassy yellow from more shimmer - indoors the Grenade is a little more elegant. I compare these side-by-side on my blog. I can only GUESS that CG Agro is trying to emulate a MEN's nail color, but if so, I think that says a lot in favor of my prediction of a Spring 2012 "Men painting their toes" trend...
DeleteAlso, just noticed, what you call "Roadside Warrior" is really "Westside Warrior".
I love the name gurple! I have been challenged to come up with a name for the gray/purples. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your list for spring 2012. It's gotta have orange on it - that much we know! I also think a trend for spring is a return to pinks. I know it won't be embraces by a lot of folks - but it's certainly there as are a ton of pastels that are more saturated than previous pastels it would seem.
Also I think this is the year of the toppers - far more than the heavy glitters.
Just my contributions here.
This is a great list as is your top 10 with the others still hanging close by.
Also looking forward to a spring 2012. I agree with beachgal's assessment.
ReplyDelete@beachgal thanks for your thoughts! I am in the process of putting together the Spring list and you bet that Orange will be on there :).
ReplyDelete@Katy, thanks!
