Today I'm wearing...
OPI's The Living Daylights, a clear base with orange, teal, and silver hexagonal glitter. Here, I'm wearing it over Essie's Bobbing for Baubles, which I thought would contrast in an interesting way with the orange and teal. I also applied a matte topcoat, Essie's Matte About You, because I'm going through a matte-ified glitter phase; I think it makes the glitter more adult and sophisticated. I really loved this look and wore it for quite a while.
I'm wearing one to two coats of Living Daylight. I tried to be methodical about where I applied it and get it to stay at the base of the nail, but that was almost impossible. The glitter wanted to either go all over or gather at the tip. Hmph. Maybe next time I'll try dabbing it.
This is part of OPI's Skyfall (James Bond) Collection for Holiday 2012.
Disclosure: I received this polish from the company for an unbiased review

I skipped out on this glitter but I do have this Essie polish. I love it! I have a thing for dark polishes.
ReplyDeleteI can't do the whole glitter at the base either! Haha
The Bobbing for Baubles polish is SO pretty! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
