Essie's In The Cab-ana

Today I'm wearing...

Essie's In The Cab-ana. A color so nice, I wore it twice! And Mr. MFM is asking for an encore performance. This is a delicious aqua. Perfect brightness! Perfect blueness! I lurrrrrve it. It's going right to the top of the Top 10!

Aqua is HOT HOT HOT for Spring and Summer so get ye to the store and pick up one of these! This is part of Essie's 2013 Resort Collection.

I'm wearing two coats and am getting great wear - I used my two minute trick and it's working like gangbusters to extend wear.

Essie First Timer

Today I'm wearing...

Essie's First Timer, a really bright pastel yellowy green. Geesh, does that even make sense? Well, that's how it looked to me. I really enjoyed wearing this! This is a really nice Springy, attractive, and wearable way to participate in the green polish trend.

I included the bottle in this picture because look at how much darker and more greenish my nails turned out than the bottle! I almost thought I grabbed the wrong bottle when I went back to my drawer to get it for the swatch picture.

The formula was great and I'm wearing two coats above.

OPI...Eurso Euro Swatch and Comparison

Today I'm wearing...

OPI...Eurso Euro, a bright royal blue / navy from OPI's 2013 Spring Collection: Euro Centrale. It was very bright and eye-catching on my nails. It was opaque in two coats and had a great formula.

With cobalt and navy blue being such hot nail polish colors right now, I figured I must have another royal blue like it, so I dug through my stash. To my surprise, it was not a dupe with any of them. China Glaze's First Mate was much more toned down and dusty; OPI's Dating A Royal was less navy and had a jelly consistency; OPI's Road House Blues was much darker. 

I think I'll keep First Mate and Dating a Royal and donate Eurso Euro as EE was just a bit bright for my taste against my pale skin.
